Not that it needed to make special sense in any sort of way, but now when I see it next to the Viper logo at the end of Dodge’s new “Predator” commercial, it’s pretty evident what the inspiration was for the Hellcat logo. Suddenly I like it more. They work together.
The full commercial is over at Allpar, by the way. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but it probably won’t work.

Loving the gratuitous Phil Collins usage.

The commercial is such a nice throw back to Miami Vice episode 1.

gratuitous?
I’d be curious to see how much it costs to license THAT song for a nationwide commercial.

I’m down. I’m a sucker for some occasional Phil Collins, That’s All.

But the real question is, when you turn it upside down, which Looney Tunes character does it look like ?

Show me Dodge’s Hellcat logo from the 60’s.

I’m not sure what you’re getting at. I’m saying that Dodge’s Hellcat logo was not inspired by Buick’s Wild cat logo of the 60’s. I mean, they’re both right-facing cat logos, that’s about it.

Don’t forget the Cougar.
They’re all screaming cats.

They look like the logos for Saturday morning cartoons like TransThunderHeJoes. The fun thing about that is it wouldn’t be the first time Mopar slapped some cartoon logos on their cars.

Watching that video makes me want to hop in my Dodge and stalk some unsuspecting vettes, mustangs, and bimmers.
